Scene Map:

Characters: Windrider, Moon Shadow, Miss Whitlaw, Wright brothers

Setting: Windrider and Moon Shadow were in Miss Whitlaw’s home

How the scene begins: Windrider wanted to make an aeroplane but he needed some information. Moon Shadow helped his father to ask Miss Whitlaw to help them to write the letter to the Wright brothers. They knew Wright brothers knew how to make an aeroplane.

How the scene ends: Wright brothers sent some information about how to make an aeroplane. Windrider was success to make an aeroplane.

Problem: Wrindrider wanted to make an aeroplane but he did not have any information.

Substitute:
What did you think would have happened if Windrider discovered a fat Miss Whitlaw instead of the thin Miss Whitlaw?

I think Windrider would have screamed and scared to walk with Miss Whitlaw.

What would have happened if the weight of Miss Whitlaw was equal to the weight of thirty of Moon Shadow?

I think while Miss Whitlaw walked to Moon Shadow’s sit, there would have a short shake like an earthquake.

I think Windrider would not make an aeroplane and Wright brothers might have interest to make knit.

Rewritten Scene:
Moon Shadow screamed because Miss Whitlaw was fatter than the last time. Moon Shadow asked Miss Whitlaw if she could help him to write a letter. Miss Whitlaw was very fat, her tummy was bigger than a big stone. She should have the weight about thirty of Moon Shadow. She walked to moon Shadow’s sit. And there had a short shake like an earthquake. “ Why, of course, Moon Shadow. To whom are you writing?” “To the Wright brothers who were the aeronauts.” Miss Whitlaw seemed impressed and said that she had heard their exploits before but she did not know it was true or not. And asked Moon Shadow why he wanted to write to them.

“My father,” I began cautiously, “he want fly like Wright brothers.” Miss Whitlaw put a fat hand to her mouth. “Oh, my, Isn’t that rather dangerous?”

Moon shrugged. “Not if he know how.”
“Does he?”
“Yes and no,” Moon said. He did not think fat Miss Whitlaw could be told about the dream. “ But he need facts, numbers, t obuild aeroplane.”

“Robin told me he made such marvelous glider models, but I had no idea it was only a preliminary. To have such ambition!” fat Miss Whitlaw shook her big head in admiration- and Moon Shadow thought also a litter anxiously.

Moon Shadow asked Miss Whitlaw to help him to write to them. The fat Miss Whitlaw promised him and ask him their address with a slow sound. When she saw Moon Shadow’s puzzled look, she explained the demon’s postal system. “I know village …no…the town they live in, and …and province…non, state.”

“Well,” fat Miss Whitlaw said, “it might get though with just that.” With her help, Moon Shadow finally wrote something like this:

To the honorable Wrights:
This to inform you that /I am a boy of eleven. I have greatly admired your feats of daring. My father wants to fly too. Can you help him? We need to know howe to shape the propellers. We need to know how big the wings should be in the whole world knows as much as you do about aeroplane. Thank you.

And Moon Shadow signed it with the sounds of his name spelled out in demon letter. Moon Shadow wrote several drafts of it and then copied it out in the fine, elegant hand Miss Whitlaw had taught him. But after six months, they could not get the letter in reply. They went to check about it and they discovered there were no any Wright brothers who were the aeronauts. They were disappointed about it. Then Windrider gave up making aeroplane. And he continued to make the kite for his job. After about two hundred years later, There were two people called Wright brothers invented the aeroplane but Windrider could not ask them how to make it because in that time, Windrider, Moon Shadow and fat Miss Whitlaw had died already.
